Job Description
Opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our ED team full-time at Shands Lake Shore in Lake City, Florida. This position does not require any overnight shifts. Shands Lake Shore is a 99-bed acute care hospital that is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and offers patients a wide range of medical services and programs such as: sports medicine, orthopedics, surgery, inpatient or outpatient chemotherapy treatment, diabetes education, emergency services, numerous services in heart care. The 28,000-annual-patient-volume ED has 12 beds and the shift times for Advanced Practice Clinicians are 9am to 9pm and 3pm to 11pm. Requirements include national certification, ED experience, current ACLS and PALS certification, and a Florida license to practice.
