Like so many of us across TeamHealth, I was heartbroken to learn of the tragic mass shooting in Atlanta. Whether motivated by racial, gender or sexual bias, or the concerning rise in behavioral and mental health disorders, the tragedy comes at a time of rising anti-Asian attacks in our country. Hatred and violence have become all too familiar headlines. Our neighborhoods and workplaces must be made inclusive and safe for all.
On behalf of all of us, I express our sorrow for the family and friends of the victims, and particularly for the losses of the Asian American community.
I remain confident in what we can achieve together when we are willing to do what is right, to stand up for justice and to support one another.
