Ethan Bachrach, MD

As a physician with years of clinical and analytical leadership skills, Dr. Ethan Bachrach brings top expertise to the team. Dr. Bachrach oversees and helps accelerate the enterprise-wide clinical informatics strategy, risk management initiatives and our value-based programs. In his current role, Dr. Bachrach takes the lead in the expansion and progress of:
- clinical applications leadership and management; including TeamHealth’s post-acute, EHR and telemedicine platforms
- clinical analytics, including clinical and operational dashboarding, reporting, modeling and analytics
- value-based care programs, including CMS’ Quality Payment Program and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment (MIPS) program
Dr. Bachrach joined TeamHealth in 2005 and served in several positions including the director of the special projects division for the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization, executive director of the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization, associate regional medical director, associate facility medical director and interim facility medical director positions for emergency medicine contracts.
Prior to joining TeamHealth, he served as a physician in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Bachrach was an attending physician at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia; academic chief resident at Naval Medical Center San Diego’s emergency medicine residency; and as an undersea/diving medical officer.
Dr. Bachrach received his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and his master’s degree in biomedical informatics from Oregon Health & Science University.
