James Boehlke, MD

With more than 25 years as a practicing physician in the military health system, Dr. James Boehlke brings value, knowledge and wide experience to the company as the chief medical officer of Spectrum Healthcare Resources. Dr. Boehlke joined Spectrum Healthcare in 1990 as a primary care pediatrician at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Since joining Spectrum, he has held the positions of site medical director, pediatric medical director, regional medical director and currently serves as the chief medical director. Throughout his tenure, Dr. Boehlke has practiced at multiple military facilities in several states. He continues to practice medicine as a primary care pediatrician at the United States Air Force Academy Hospital, a practice he has maintained since 1998.
Dr. Boehlke is a board-certified pediatrician and has served in the military health system for more than 20 years. He has also practiced in the civilian and academic community. Dr. Boehlke graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed a pediatric residency program and subsequent fellowship in adolescent medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
