Khadeja Haye, MD

As a proven leader, Khadeja Haye, MD, MBA, FACOG, lends her wealth of knowledge and skills to the company as national medical director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist programs. Dr. Haye has extensive experience in managing and onboarding OB/GYN hospitalist programs as well as in physician leadership development and training. Dr. Haye also has expertise in onboarding certified nurse midwives (CNMs) to the hospitalist teams and creating protocols/procedures to improve patient safety. Additional skills include tracking and improving quality measures, training hospitalist staff as it pertains to nursing education and implementing drills/simulations.

She joined TeamHealth in 2012. She served as a facility medical director for five years and regional medical director for two years before becoming national medical director.

Dr. Haye is a mentor for aspiring physicians. She provides shadowing and mentoring opportunities to undergraduate and medical students. She is also an active member of the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists (SOGH) and participates in their simulation and academic committees.

Dr. Haye received her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her residency at Emory University in Atlanta, where she later served on the faculty and worked in the private practice division of the OB/GYN department prior to becoming an OB/GYN hospitalist. Dr. Haye earned her MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
